        1. Forum Africa is multilingual. We currently support two major international languages, English and French. Select the language of your choice and communicate in that language. Eg. When you are on the English forum, do not communicate in French.
        2. Due to the multinational nature of the forum, please use English. If you quote or say something in a different language, do well to provide a translation in your message.
        3. Stick to the topic when responding to posts created by others.
        4. When creating your own post in the form of a topic, please choose the appropriate forum and give it a clear and concise title.
        5. Before creating a new topic, or asking a new question, consider using the search function to see whether it has already been addressed. If it has, post your new topic only if the previous thread has already been closed. Note that if you believe that your topic is related to an existing one but with significant differences, feel free to create the new topic, making sure to address the difference.
        6. This is an informative platform, so when citing or referring to an external source, be sure to provide a link or complete reference to that source in order for others to access/verify it.
        7. Remember always that plagiarism is not tolerated; do try and cite sources whenever posting an opinion that is not your own.
        8. This is a public forum, so please consider very carefully before posting your own personal information.
        9. Also posting personal information of anyone else is a major violation of the rules of conduct for this forum and will result in the deletion of the topic/reply and a single warning; a second violation will result in a permanent ban.

          General Posting Guidelines

          1. Use the search function first before posting a question!

There is a good chance that a question or a topic you are trying to start is in existence on the forums. Hence before posting a topic or asking a question, use the forum’s search feature first to see if there are already some good threads on that topic or question.

          2. Be descriptive and don’t use titles

Please post a descriptive topic name! Give a short summary of your problem in the subject. Here are examples of post or question titles you should not post: Help me,

Hello,  Very urgent, I have a question.

Generally, ANYTHING similar to those is unacceptable. Just give your post or question a good and descriptive title. Here is a good example of a way to start a topic and post a question:

          1. “How much does it cost to spend the night in a 5-star hotel in Lagos.”
          2. “Food security in East Africa”
