In the Russian Federation, a special place has always been given to youth policy. The younger generation, young families, and young professionals are the foundation, the future of the country, so special attention is always devoted to these topics. Today, the official age of young people in Russia has been extended from 30 to 35 years, this brings real changes in status, the opportunity to receive various allowances. For very young representatives of youth, starting from the age of 14, a special Pushkin card is available, allowing free access to educational and cultural institutions.
Various youth projects, such as “You are an entrepreneur”, “Territory of Meanings” and others like them, allow young people to realize their potential, to open up from different sides. Support for young families implies various benefits and payments for young mothers, which are paid in addition to the “maternity capital” aimed at increasing the birth rate in Russia.
The Russian Federation has been and remains an attractive educational environment for international students and young scientists from different countries. Russian universities such as MGIMO, RUDN, RANEPA, St. Petersburg State University and many others are platforms for cultural and educational exchange, attracting students from near and far abroad. The fact that today many diplomats and leaders of our neighboring countries are graduates of these educational institutions speaks about the wide profile and possibilities of its application.
However, the most important thing is that young people feel important and necessary, have the opportunity to independently set life goals and expand their horizons, improve their education and qualifications, open a business, travel, develop spiritually and physically. Opportunities have been created in Russia for all this, and systematic work continues in this direction, which is a priority in Russian politics.
